My Spirulina Smoothie!
Hey guys! Short and sweet post today! Funny story- my mom doesn't have an Instagram, so she's been asking me to post my green smoothie recipe on my blog so she can make it herself since SHE LOVES IT! Plus, we have people working on my parents bathroom (who just came back to work yesterday and are family friends) but they love the smoothie too!! Instead of writing it down every time someone wants the recipe, I figured I'd put it here so it's of easy access to you and those who don't have Instagram!
1 banana (can be frozen)
1 tsp spirulina
1 tbsp chia seeds or hemp seeds
1 tbsp almond butter or cashew butter
handful of frozen zucchini
handful of spinach
1 cup of almond milk or water (or any base you prefer)
1 cup of ice
Combine all ingredients together and blend until desired consistency! Add liquid/ice willingly!
Make thicker and create a smoothie bowl and add toppings or drink as is!!
