Chicken "Noodle-less" Soup!

Hey everyone!


Just giving you a little quick and easy recipe today. Thought it would be the perfect time to share this with the weather being all rainy and yucky- perfect time to stay in bed and let a crockpot do all the work. Because you just can’t be bothered when the weather is like this. Take time for yourself these next few days while the weather is crappy. Binge watch a show, eat snacks all day, stay in bed, stay in your PJs, don’t brush your hair. You deserve a lax day. Or three. But now go make my chicken “noodle less” soup.




Chicken “Noodle-less” Soup



Ingredients:

32oz of bone broth (2 packets)

4-5 chicken breasts

1 large white potato

2-3 large carrots

3 stalks celery

1 ½ cups peas


Spices:

parsley

thyme

sage

salt

pepper

garlic

onion

lemon

*Use as desired*



Directions:

These directions are for non-frozen ingredients. The night before or in the morning, chop your vegetables into small cubes. This includes potatoes, carrots, celery. In the morning, place equal parts bone broth and water into a crockpot on low (8 hours). Toss in all your ingredients including the chicken and let sit for the day. Once your chicken is cooked through, remove from the crockpot and shred apart with two forks. Place back in the crockpot for another hour or so. Add spices as you continually check taste throughout the day.


Keep in your fridge for up to one week. Enjoy!!
